Nurse Manager Exempt

Managing the day-to-day nursing operations for a four site, 25 primary care provider staff - Community Health Center in Yuma County. Supervises nursing staff, performs personnel management functions, creating policies and procedures, provides nursing in-services, performs and monitors record and reporting systems, and participates in daily clinical operations. Qualifications include: Current Registered Nurse License and able to practice in the State of Arizona. RN license in good standing with a current CPR card. Four or more years in professional nursing experience with at least two years in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity. Excellent communication, people skills, and very motivated. Chief Medical Officer Exempt

The CMO works on multi-levels to meet quality and effectiveness of patient care services to Center’s patients. This candidate will work closely with the CEO and serve as a member of the Executive Committee Team to develop programs that achieve the Center’s goals and objectives. Necessary skills include: in-depth knowledge and experience with processes / challenges of a CHC and FQHC Clinics serving rural communities. Candidate must process supervision skills for effective medical staff, support nursing staff, understanding and delivery of PCMC and MU, supervision of quality health care and standards, and been involved in long-range planning for an organization. This candidate is expected to participate in health care activities on a local and national level while enhancing the Center’s image. Qualifications are: Doctor of Medicine, licensed to practice in Arizona, Board Certified/Board Eligible in primary care specialties. Previous Medical Management experience- 3 to 5 years preferred. Prior experience with staff community models and understanding of HRSA compliance and regulatory requirements of CHC programs. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
